I had the pleasure and honor to meet General Yeager when I was stationed at Edward's AFB in 1990 and I worked at Test Pilot school, he had the priveldge of showing up anytime he wanted and could take any aircraft for a flight whenever he felt like it, what a Awesome man to meet!!
