    As was widely expected, Lebanon Central Bank has reduced its mandatory foreign currency reserves by 1% — from 15% to 14% — allowing for more $ to be spent on subsidies etc Supports the idea that Lebanese leaders will burn thru what’s left of people’s money in race to the bottom

    CCTV is from a different floor to COVID lab but same building. On this floor medics were running a medical phone consultation service-as during war it’s too dangerous for some families to leave their homes. The medic slammed into the wall was giving medical advice at the time

    Mithqal’s home in was destroyed in wars of 2008, 2012, 2014 & then again last week. For the 4th time his family are living in a UN school. The UN hadn’t finished rebuilding homes from the 2014 war &now estimates 8000 more ppl have been made homeless

    The remains of the house in Gaza city where Dr Ayman Abu al-Ouf lived and was killed alongside his entire extended family, bar his 17 year old son who we spoke to today. Dr Abu al-Ouf was a key Gaza medic and spearheading the Strip’s coronavirus response.
