This alone has destroyed a lot of hope I had for my own channel.
YouTube is also completely revamping their partner program to make it HARDER to get into. You need to have around 1k subscribers, 10k+ views, and like 4k+ minutes watched. So for small people (aka me) this is either unattainable or so far away that it doesn't matter.
You guys realize my channel was just like that a year ago right? Stop saying it’s impossible and make content.
Like 4000 hours is about 80k views. That’s 2 months of daily uploads at 1.5 k. You weren’t making anything on that before 100k anyway. This rule is not a big deal
My account has been around for 5 years 38 Subs 350+ videos each video averages 2-3 views (not looking for pity, just saying) --- I share when new videos are uploaded.. it's a luck of the draw in a lot of parts. No one finds my content because it's buried under bigger creators.
