What we see on beta is Blizzard changing baselines to function without artifacts, not them designing the final spec. This is because they offload much of the class design space to endgame profession. (Which I have reservations about).

As always, a good understanding of memes & their spread (as laid out in The Selfish Gene) is required to deal with how the internet works. A small and specific negative can be taken as an example and then be blown out of proportion, creating a broad negative bias in readers.

Aren't the azerite traits all passive anyway? Which in itself is boring. From what I've tried so far, most specs feel hollow. I don't think passive traits will fix it. I'm just worried about my spec not being fun I guess.
-
Nope. Higher end Azerite gear has the same impact as Artifact traits, legendaries and set bonuses. So they strongly interact with talents and rotations.

One change I like is removing secondary stats on the 3 azorite pieces. It will help with stat bloat quite a bit. But really, the GCD change feels so bad to me. I'm thinking about rerolling to a class it impacts less. Rerolling solely for that reason should worry blizzard.

But of course, blizzard knows best. Better than the people actually playing the game. Lock is actually feeling really good right now compared to my hunter. Especially BM feels awkward with the GCD change.

Just tell me Protection Warrior is okay. It's been my favorite spec since Vanilla.
