They could have done a better job at giving testers context. "Azurite Gear Just Hit Alpha, and its HORRIBLE" being the top of r/wow could have been avoided! Downside is that opening something for testing with a qualifying statement does colour the feedback.

i'll be interested to see if there's as much excitement about upgrades if we're no longer working towards our tier pieces. what are the big gets we're supposed to be aiming at now?!
-
Weapon and new Azerite gear which will have better traits than the lower one, obviously :)

hopped on my alpha druid yesterday and am already not convinced. T1 and T2 talents are spec and role specific, really hope we get to "respec" our armour in rest areas like regular talents, not keen on carrying 4 helms/shoulders/ chests in addition to multiple weapons and trinkets

pacing it for the last patch is just gonna mean that we’re punished until the end like we were with AP. I wish they wouldn’t use these systems personally
-
Azurite can avoid having that by having different AP levels to unlock the traits on different gear. To unlock every trait on that green gear you need AP lvl 10. To unlock the last trait from the first raid you might need lvl 100. They can pace gear not AP.

We said it on the Weekly Reset weeks ago -this is green gear levelling gear. Gear you're going to wear for less than 2 hours. This is the equivilent of those very first upgrades on your artifact that were like, +1% damage on Smite.
-
But wasnt each Azerite head getting the same traits? Or will certain parts be unlocked by level and be fullpower at 120
