The mob health values now allow for full rotations to play out. This means new players will get a representative slice of endgame class gameplay. Something they'd never see today. That alone is massive.

For existing players you'll be able to knock out an allied race character doing zones that you'd previously missed. So it does 'unlock' a lot of content that you'd otherwise probably have never seen.

Good video! This change has got me actually excited for old world content. I can't wait to level trough quests instead of a long dungeon grind!

I have one concern though : it seems that they increased the xp needed to level up from 10 to 59. I really like the scaling idea because it feels a bit like end game but... it isn't. Is it really necessary to force players to stay longer in the old world ?

Absolutely. I actually love low-level World of Warcraft, the zones are great, some of the questing is top-notch (hell, Gilneas + Silverpine Forest is better than any Legion questing...). But it's just... broken with current xp levels.
