Suramar was groundbreakingly good and I thought Val'sharah had the best-paced self-contained story of any levelling zone ever.

And yes Suramar was good, but the expansion was structurally poor when it came to storytelling. Good in isolation, not as a whole.

Games are interesting: we ask of them outstanding gameplay, but also to be Hollywood grade movies (music, script, acting...) on top of that.

I doubt any game achieves as much in as many areas as WoW does. Some at better at some things, but WoW does almost everything (pretty well).

Those games much "smaller" than WoW. The instanced multiplayer aspects (dungeons, raids, battlegrounds) alone are all "full games", IN WoW.

Yeah. As time had went on the 'world' of warcraft (after leveling) has more became a fancy UI to enter the separate games within.
