Part of building a team & developing a co-operative mindset is having your group come together to split the spoils of war. Ilvl is a bad indicator of an item's usefulness to an individual. You designed the game that way. Loot trading being based on ilvl simple does not fit.

This change hurts casual players. we don't want it back.

You don't have to use ML, you didn't in Legion and it was fine. Pugs can continue to use PL and 'casuals' will be fine. Let's guilds use ML.

This! All of this. We want to try and gear 2 friends so they can join us in raid. And the best way to do this is to grab alts to stack gear to funnel towards 1 character. Instead of just giving them what drops. So convoluted and promotes class stacking

Not to mention it's harder for them to design. It'd be very easy to give an average amount of loot per boss or encounter. But it's easy for bad/good luck to completely throw off how much loot an instance gets currently

The amount of drama I've had with forced PL is immensely more abundant than with the 80%+ to activate ML that we had in Legion. I main a hpal but I keep my ret set up to date so I can adjust if needed and have had people freak out if I get dps loot in pugs its insane
