Lore coverage is so interesting... Modern stuff makes it so clear that Dreadlords are agents of Death & that the Jailor was in the helm when Ner’zhul was wearing it. ...and then you think back to Warcraft 3, where clearly none of that was the there.

...modern era lore is more canonical than War3 era. I suppose it’s all down to how Metzen and co had no conception just for far & for how long the Warcraft story would go.

I think the Dreadlord thing can easily be explained by the fact that pretty much the entire burning legion were races recruited by Sargeras to serve him, so the Dreadlords he had in his legion were just recruits from their natural location, which we now know where that is.

What are you smoking ? are you just mad they proved pyro right about chronical ? Dreadlords were always suspect as fuck, they had vampirc aura and carrion swarm. They created the scourge, they were always liars, they created frostmourne as far as we knew. There are some retcons

like how the dreadlords were agents of the void actually, from rpg source books. The idea that Zovaal sent them to Nazretha to LARP as void cultists to spill the beans to Sargeras is golden in my opinion even if it is a retcon. We never knew how the scourge had gargoyles.

weren't the Dreadlords described as "extremely cunning"? Cunning enough maybe to have deceived Archimonde, Kil'jaeden and Sargeras?
