I really like this M+ giving heroic raid gear made WoW feel like diablo, season drops grind dungeons and now you have little room for improvement for heroic raiders
The ilvl increase is 100% irrelevant. The thing that matter is the % stat increase from one tier to the next. We shorthand that as ilvl, but there's nothing that forces those two things to be linked.
I've thought recently that it'd be pretty cool if raid difficulties rewarded the same item level, but different item qualities of those items, and the higher qualities have more stats or a higher budget. You know, make your Epics actually feel Epic.
They better make Heroic Raids harder than a +15 then lol
Wouldn’t ilvl inflation also come with the last raid bosses dropping higher ilvl gear (+7)?
Agree on ilvl inflation, but considering the downside for thoese who love m+, I feel that adding another layer of reward for high mythic keys can mitigate that feel... How many ppl get to complete Mythic raids? And how many get to a +20/+25?. Add some ilvls for these thresholds!!
Personally, I hate the bloat. 15 item levels per difficulty, 4 difficulties, made to overlap so that Heroics let you skip LFR and Mythics let you skip Normal, it's a bit silly to me.
Getting to skip LFR is fine and all, but I just think that you should be able to skip Normal if you need the challenge, but still do Normal for more (if weaker) upgrades. I mean, FFS we already make previous tiers irrelevant, can we make difficulties relevant?

This is one of the major issues the game has, it's far too accessible. Having 4 difficulties or tiers of gear, on top of 3 tiers of dungeons makes the ilvl have to scale out of control
