Given their success rate in past expansions and patches, I can't say I have faith in the team to successfully balance covenant kits, especially as the expansion progresses. That'll probably be a recurring nuisance for much of the expansion. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/development-update-the-road-to-shadowlands/638371 …

I hate this "it'll only be a 1% difference" argument. It's literally not true, you're arguing in bad faith. For some specs it's up to a 20% difference in output. Not to mention the difference between soulbinds themselves.

Do any of the abilities stop you from clearing the content ? If so then there is a problem. If not then yes while some may “suck” compared to others at the end of the day it ultimately doesn’t matter. It’s like saying you can only clear content if you are horde
-
Which content? Because the deltas right now are more like the all-Troll Jaina kills. That was 100% a "we can't kill it this week without this gimmick" setup, not a "all raid guilds are Horde so we're Horde" one.

that's like the point tho. If you are not pushing for WF you can play the talent which is fun even if it is less DPS overall. There are very few "average" players who really suffer from this at all. The suffering is self-made by the community being toxic and tryhard
-
That's not what he meant. What he meant was, if you chose your covenant based on RP, you're likely getting stuck with an ability that you'll find less fun than another. I know it's my case as a necrolord dk, I largely prefer the venthyr ability
