Clearly, Method were prioritising growth over these principles, and in doing so, allowed the worst of the internet, and worst of modern twitch culture in. Sad for the Method partners who had no hand in these mistakes, and are now in a rough position because of bad leadership.

I’d at least like to believe that most of their partners / rank & file people just assumed Josh was a strange edgelord, and not a grooming predator.

this is also why I find generic brand statements that only focus on donating a small % of money disappointing. change needs to occur from within to actively improve company hiring and culture. lot more work than writing a check

Bellular what do you think of people actively distancing themselves from Method but then continuing to stream on Twitch? Twitch is in an even bigger shitstorm than Method and has some serious allegations from the top down. It feels disingenuous to the viewer.

And then there's the matter of you don't hire co-owners -- the ownership sets the standard. And clearly, Method followed that standard. Hiring the right people is all well and good, but this goes beyond that.

I feel like a lot of companies hire every1 they can in hopes that 1/100 they hire is good because the other 99 won’t stay
