What’s cool about that to me is that one of the reasons why War4 would be exciting is how it could revamp the state of Azeroth & set up the next generation of MMO stories. Perhaps a post Shadowlands time skip would do similar?

I don’t mean a world revamp, just stuff like... - New home for Night Elves - New home & leadership for Forsaken - Alliance faction plot development - Updated ‘state’ of Lordaeron - Teldrassil? + resolving some fun lingering stories.

While you're looking at your twitter, I have another question for ya. Not about torg-haste this time but about the level squish. Has there been any info on how this works for characters under level 120? Is 110-119 just set to level 50? Love your everyday content!

I recall someone saying their non maxed 110+ character was squished into the mid 40s. I'm guessing they're going off total xp or something along those lines. Like if a char has 90% of total level 120 xp they get squished to 90% of the total level 50 xp.

Didn’t he « kinda » teased a timeskip when we went to Draenor too? Because of timeywimey reasons.

I don't really see how they can update the map except for the Cataclysm part. No more plaguelands maybe? But then? Hope it will not be an excuse to get an older Anduin and put him in a spaceship.

here's my crackhead take: we go back in time. Vanilla WoW 2.0. We are in an alternate timeline of events permanently with some characters already dead (defeated in shadowlands/twisting nether. aka permadead) and others alive who were dead (Mankriks wife lives).
-
i don't think we'll go back, i think we'll go a lot further forward. Like 3 generations from now
