Honestly, it doesnt have to. If the last 2 months see a drop in players, thats fine, it doesnt have to keep people subbed until the very end. As long as people enjoy the patch, thats fine.

This is the most invested in the end game I've been all expansion. Once I finished the story part of each patch, I would do the minimum end game stuff and then just level a new character. Leveling was more fun than any endgame in bfa aside from mechagon. Not anymore.

Nice! Yeah, I wonder if having loads of essences & corrupted gear is going to lead to fun, powerful feeling endgame characters with loads of choice.

Why the return of 'daily' quests? In the past daily quests, like isle of quel'danas, told a story but these seem to be just like world quests that aren't marked on the map.
-
Not all dailies used to give you a story. Some were like the ones we have now9 (most of them actually). People were saying they felt better with dailies cause they felt more rewarding the fact that they got to turn them in and all that so you cant really fault them for doing it.

Also, what's with all the unmarked events? Does WoW think making things hard to find counts as "exploration"?
-
I get that it's not fun if you're looking to do everything as fast as possible but isn't this exactly what exploration is? You fly around, ask around where stuff is until you find it. It's not like it's actually hard to find them since it shows up on ur minimap.

Since the corruption resistance is going to almost plateau quickly in a few weeks it feels like really going all out on corruption stacking will never be attractive. Sure it's a long term content nerf/performance buff but there will be hard decision involved for certain slots.

Lesser Vision farming didn't feel intuitive at the start. Now those who caught the notion could (right now) get a significant head-start. Is design like this for a single source of power gain just bad execution or at what point should the player be rewarded for extra knowledge?
