And since this tweet was made I wanna make something clear because I see a lot of confusion on this. They are NOT cutting the changes they wanted to make on the cutscenes and campaign maps, you will still have "The Culling" style of cutscenes, just no new voice overs.

Do you have any source on that?

Really!? not even the muradin part? I am 99% sure he died in WC 3
-
Same here, but they played it as if he got severly wounded and lost all his memories.

a bit off-topic Bell but did you saw this Ion interview https://www.buffed.de/World-of-Warcraft-Spiel-42971/Specials/Interview-Shadowlands-WoW-Patch-83-1336160/ … (sorry that its in german) They said they are giving spells ranks or perks from 50 to 60 similar to how WoD did it
-
Even current levelling gives ranks and perks. You acquire them all before lvl 90 tho.

Oh...
That kind of killed my interest. I wanted to play through it with the updated storyline. I didn't really want new stories; I just wanted the events and maps to match Chronicle.
Yeah, that's a huge disappointment for me.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

This is awful it was the major selling point next to brand new engine cinematics. Now they're just polishing old cinematics and not aligning lore with modern lore. Why buy it at this point?

Aren't they retconning Frostmourne's origin in Shadowlands though?
-
It's still unclear if it's a retcon. As of now, Frostmourne was supposed to be forged by nathrezims, but I don't remember anything that said that they would not be able to use the forge in the Shadowlands to do so. Demons travel through other dimensions and timelines, after all.
