It seems like they've got a solid expansion in the works, but that they leaned so heavily on Sylvanas that their initial push has backfired.pic.twitter.com/PZMhrUCB14

Ohh I gotcha. I understand now. So typically in previous years (expansion reveals) the trailers had a much wider gap between upvotes and downvotes?
I think people are downvoting a lot of stuff thats still unknown... it set up the story, nothing more. People just being people
That could be many things, Sylvanas, China, general Blizzard haters, people generally not liking the cinematic, HeelvsBabyface fans base.. Who knows.
Every video on the WoW channel released in the last day got about the same percent of dislikes. It makes me suspicious.
I dunno. 11k positive versus 4K negative seems like good news in today’s “Blizzard F’ed Up” society. And believe me I hated Sylv’s arc the moment the tree lit up. Just wish Bolvar did not go down so easily.
Yeah, I guess that's the main complaint me and 90% of the people I saw on comments had. A major lore figure, so beloved by the majority of the community, meant to be super powerful, got his ass kicked so easily by Sylvanas and her new "power outta nowhere", it was really odd.
mists got downvoted a ton when announced, so i am sure it will be fine, but people at blizzcon did boo a part about syl vanias burning the tree
Might be backlash to Blizzard in general. They haven't won a lot of points lately.
Nah, I think it has more to do with protesters and people who are unhappy with Blizzard in general. Expect a similar ratio of downvotes on pretty much EVERY Blizzcon video. Also: this year’s leaks really ruined the fun and excitement because everyone already knew what was coming.
Are you sure it’s not just general Blizzard backlash? Is it just these videos or is it all BlizzCon videos?
