I don’t think people watch marvel movies because they expect an award winning movie in every category. People watch it because they put the nostalgia behind comic book/cartoon heroes in a “real life” scenarios and humanize them with famous actors.

@BellularGaming. McDonald's provides food at cheaper costs and at a convenience in locations across the world. A Michelin star restaurant is in one fixed location offering high priced meals that most can't afford. 1/2 -
While Marvel films vs Scorsese/Coppola films all have access to the same theaters if desired. Marvel engages a larger audience/fanbase as a result of the pure entertainment of the films. Just because something is a niche product doesn't make it more valuable.
