@TerranGregory Remember the eternal lesson of Uldum. Machinimatics can be fun, to highlight some key action, but they always come with a price of taking your character away from you. No amount of polish prevents that.

I do kind of appreciate that they're trying to give us the killing blow this time around. But if my character's actions are taken away from me then it kind of doesn't count. Because that's still somebody else taking the kill: The Developers.

Yeah. Loosely analogous to if Half-Life did a cutscene like that. That'd be a big whoops! Feels like they're a bit high on their own supply over there. Ain't the player experience centric storytelling of the past.
