If true, this is WILD. Orc background seems to be from someone’s art station. Needs further digging. Remember that War3 Reforged is basically outsourced art wise (...so I hear), so you can see how this’d happen. Could be a placeholder that used fan art to get quick results?https://twitter.com/AvelineMelena/status/1183141711180111878 …

It was placeholder, that image wasnt even shown by Blizzard, it was datamined, they could have just been trying some stuff out.

Datamined. So someone else's art was datamined inside a blizzard game. SOMEONE ELSE'S ART! IN A COMPANY OF ARTISTS!

YES because they were just probably trying things out like "How would this look like with Orgrimmar behind it?". Because there are talented artists that doesnt mean they have to waste huge amounts of time every time they want to test something out. Almost all the devs do that-

- during the development of a game just to be able to take some quick looks and judge wether they wanna go ahead with the current "idea" of an image or not. This was not going to come to our hands like this, it was just something they used inside the team.

We don't know if it was going to come to the game, since this was Datamined and it's just conjecture from
@BellularGaming saying that it's a "placeholder". You're whiteknighting for Blizz, how does it feel WK'ing for a multi-billion dollar company?3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Nah mate. I'm a dev and I can confirm this is common practice before release of any software to use assets from anywhere on the net just to test things out. If anything, you're the one black-knighting against Blizz out of a clickbait title like a standard idiot.

Yeah also in gamedev, we’ve done this plenary, we just remove it from builds after the test is done

I’ve *never* ripped all the Rayman art to see how it’s done. Never I say, never!

But what I mean, is when you didn't rip that, you didn't open up Photoshop and change the colors of rayman or change his colors, or what not, etc.
