There’s a Rommel like thing going on with Saurfang. So, Rommel was held up as being a more simplistic, honourable guy after the WW2, with much of that being pushed by the allies in order to ease the German people back into the fold & give a character to rally around.

Oh this is not a "keep politics out of my games" argument, I just think drawing parallels with that is not something the team was aiming for and if they did, they did it in a woeful distasteful way. But yeah, agree to disagree.

I think that is part of the point. They (Blizzard) clearly did draw a parallel (whether intentionally doesn't really matter). It might be distasteful, but that is not the fault of the people pointing out the parallels, is it?

I agree that art can be a vehicle to teach. Unfortunately, I think BfA's morals that "War bad, genocide bad, morality and unity good" are all things we learned when we were 6. There's nothing really groundbreaking, challenging, or adult with this piece.
