This somewhat created the ‘honourable German army’ story. (Also furthered by postwar German memoirs). Ofc WW2 is a far more serious topic, and I mean no disrespect - it’s just interesting to see art emulate history. I wonder if Blizzard had this in mind?

So, looking at Saurfang, they’re whitewashing some of his actions & putting the blame on Sylvanas, and are then holding him up as the symbol behind which postwar horde can rally. Interesting parallels!

Err, originally read “the Second World War”, but I swapped Second War for WW2 to save characters. “the WW2” is, uh, not how to say that.
