Talk about the part where Sylvanas starts the expansion roaring "FOR THE HORDE" and then without any shown character development ends the expansion with "THE HORDE IS NOTHING." That's my favorite bit.pic.twitter.com/TKPCKpToRc

I mean unless you have no idea what sylvanas sees, that would be right, she saw the forsaken and the horde as a shield against death, nothing else, she didn't had any pride

Blizzard's writing pretty much just goes like this: "Watch the heroes (not you) of the Alliance and Horde decide the fate of all of Azeroth (nevermind your actions, you didn't matter) once and for all (except for the next expansion's plot immediately trivializing everything)"
-
I mean, I don't disagree... but this is incredibly polarizing what they've actually done as of late. I mean, most expansions anymore see YOU, the player, as the literal commander of armies and wielder of incredible, awesome power do literally EVERYTHING else.

That's sad and disappointing, was hoping Classic revival would help them see we want an mmo not a single player game.

For every moment that’s player centric, someone complains that they miss the anonymity of the older storylines. For every moment the glory moment goes to a character, someone complains it’s not player centric. I think the writing has been phenomenal in BfA with a balance of both
