Interesting one @pcgamer! Only in the rarest occasions - typically finishing the main quest nukes my drive to do additional content, but that'll vary on the game. In TES, I never really latched onto the main quest, so no. In RPGs, the Mass Effect 2 formula works best for me!pic.twitter.com/fJiqYYaqGs

Not usually... I tend to try and do everything related to platinuming a game (PS4) while doing the story, otherwise I lose all motivation, and start another game

Kingdom hearts is the series that does this for me. It doesnt have sidequests in the classic sense but does have post game material which i tend to discard (except for kh2 cus 14 y/o pe had tonnes of time)

I finish up all Side-Stuff before finishing the Main Story just because I stop caring once I am done with the game.

Always try to finish side quests before I finish a game , extends the experience

Fallout 4 I went nuts doing side stuff and making spectacle island into the most baller settlement around but when I finally did the plotline it all died for me. But games like skyrim I could dick around forever in.

For some weird reason I always have to do all the side quests before finishing the main story line or it straight kills my motivation. Blessing and a curse lol

I did with assassin's creed odyssey, spent 80 hours discovering and doing sidequests, getting gear and killing bosses untill i actually did the story

The only RPG where I gladly continued doing side quests in after finishing the story is Witcher 3. I can't get enough of that world. But then again, I'm one of those people that will try to finish all the side quests and collect everything before finishing the story.

I always tell myself I will. But I often don't. Not unless it's a game with replayability with branching paths and "good/bad" outcomes. Then I'll actively try to look for ones I hadn't done.

Depend on the game some games if i finished the story first i stop caring to play the game but some games like skyrim or watcher even if i finish the game i continue playing it cause the side quest done and some of them is better than the story itself
