I suppose the problem is that it isn't educating consumers in a balanced way. It seems like it'll leave people a little more angry, and with a very one sided viewpoint. ...perhaps the dangers of people writing outside their area of competence?

Reading through it with a vague understanding of energy infrastructure, it's just a bad article. I get its harder to get the point across while educating people, but it's the right thing to do, especially when it's an important topic like this one.

I suspect it's a format and audience issue as well. This is the kind of piece that could expand to three or four more expansive articles, one for each section but this article would run the risk of ending up dry and bogging casual readers down if it gets too technical.
