It's not for a thesis, I'm sure he's not sweating over the reliability of it lol But he's also given an argument for and an argument against in his opinion if you read it back. So the hint that he's put bias into the replies is kinda void.

I wouldn't mind if did the cross realm faction balancing. With few realms stitched together. Not randomly shuffeled all the time. Now it loses so much of the interaction with others the game had at the start.

I think merging the smaller servers would have worked better.

If they can make it so players dont "simply" disappear right in front of you and possibly reduce the amount its used everywhere, it would be not a bad thing, however it feels that you take one step and then you are suddenly in a completely new shard with zero players

Honestly the question should be : would you prefer have a more laggy experience and more server instability in exchange of seeing more ppl around you

I wouldn't say it has "massively" impacted world content, come on. Hopping server instead of waiting for a spawn is not such a big deal as to warrant "massive". Especially when the upside is to actually have people with which to interact.

I think in the core you are right but you dont really have to interact with ppl usually you search a group wait / kill the rare and then leave. no thanks, no gg, no bye, maybe a "hi" when u join
