I'll give cnet props on their thumbnail though! Slanty line, big emotion, red and black text. Good job!

Why is it that whenever someone critiques YouTube culture, they’re accused of being a slave to corporate overlords who’re jealous of the future of media, rather than engage the critiques?
-
There are a bunch of YouTube gaming channels that peddle in outrage (Jim Sterling, YongYea, and Crowbcat come to mind). Hell, the WoW community even has one (Ankle Versus Infant Head)

"In good faith" has been streched beyond the realms of meaning by certain individuals from time to time.

"Hambly told his audience not to "interact with" Plagge. He also said "I disavow" the online attacks. Both actions insulated him from a YouTube policy against inciting harassment. " He then went to do 3 more videos attacking her which led to more attack on her. What an ass.

It's a systemic problem. Get your audience riled, they do predictable riled up things consequence free, and the person who incited them shrugs, claims innocence, and makes more videos to keep those people angry. What advertiser wants to be associated with that?

Honestly I am surprised to not see your name in it, I might not agree with those other channels on most things but I do feel they have the right to call out companies for some of the things that they do.
