Games media doesn't want political opinion. They want THEIR political opinion which is worse.

No SJW has ever managed to make a political argument acceptable by the gaming consumers, and that is not because their arguments are contrary to the public's opinion, but rather because they're completely stupid in delivering it, and have absolutely no idea on how to make things+

on how to make things subtle, they just slap SJW bullshit as its some sort of trophy in their game, and as if people would buy their bullshit BECAUSE of the SJW trash and not because the game itself. Doing this kind of trash always loses money, but it keeps being repeated.

What about Witcher 3? I'd say the game plays with quite a few left-leaning themes and I don't remember anyone complaining about it.

Just to back my argument up, you'll never see people complaining about KOTOR, DA1, ME1 or other old bioware stuff despite their strong political messages, but people shit on DA3/MEA all the time because the story was bad combined with bad game design.

The game opens up with a cinematic stating that if you didn’t have a gun you were toast. It’s the result of a biochemical terrorist attack on Black Friday because they knew lots of people would be out shopping. It’s political man.
-
Ubisoft are so adamant that it isn’t that in their interview the spokesperson said that the literal game description on their website was a “big stretch”. Of course it is. But it doesn’t matter. The game is fun.

I recognize the quality of BSG, but I blame it for being the reason that there since then most SciFi has been about about how humans are bastards, filled with bastard in bastard coating and I am fucking sick of it.
-
I just want some SciFi that is about how humans and humanity could be great. I mean, have we lost the collective ability to imagine a better future? If so, what does it say about us and our future if all we see there is doom and gloom?
