Also the worship of Japanese corporate culture is a bit of an issue. They have a massive working conditions problem and a large wage slave class. Iwata absolutely did good, but there are massive working condition problems over there that we can’t conveniently forget.

Everybody is quick to talk about Nintendo because of the gaming context. Many gloss over the much more impressive Toyota who have been much better exemplars of ethical corporate culture. (See: 5S Model, The Toyota Way)

Many people on the message boards who think they know anything about corparations were citing Iwata as how to give good "corparate". I mean... That is not to say he wasn't a good person, maybe he was, but that really speaks to a flimsy grasp of business by these forum dorks.
