Huh? Sorry, too busy playing so many other games to even notice this half-hearted attempt at nothing. Bioware will join Bullfrog and co. in a year, two at best.

Na, Bioware are essentially EA at this point, and EA would never never risk losing the chances to make more Mass Effect and Dragons Age games in the future, Games that will always have a following and that will always sell

I'm enjoying the gameplay, but I'm with you on the story and world building. It's a mess of vague references and lore collectibles with no context.

My fear was that they'd go the Destiny route of a lot of vague, high-level references that (until recently) barely play into the content you're actually seeing on a day-to-day basis. Not far enough in to determine if that's the case yet though.

None of know yet people are biting at the bit to state their conclusions. I've had a lot of fun today with it today though That's all I'm prepared to say. Maybe that will change but for now I'm happy I preordered.

What happened? EA bought them.
-
After EA bought them they released two of their three original IPs - Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Prior to that, besides Jade Empire, their world building consisted of playing in other people's worlds (Star Wars, Forgotten Realms).
