FASB changed the accounting rules on them in 2005, but the damage was done.

Nintendo and Toyota stand out as examples in leader-driven ownership and responsibility. Both faced collapse at certain points. Both recovered by putting workers first and re-enforcing their guiding principals. (I.e. Toyota's 5S's)

YUP. The economics of Durkin kind of make sense, but ugh. Idk if the company is doing well. If they’re doing badly, leadership needs to lead. Morally, employees > shareholders. But that’s the thing. Agreements are entered into when things are on the up...
