So, an interview with ex Blizzard North lead David Brevik has came out. It’s REALLY damning. Thoughts? “David Brevik Says Morhaime Likely Forced Out, Blizz Employee Salaries Cut Deep”https://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/comments/9x5r5l/david_brevik_says_morhaime_likely_forced_out/?st=JOIE0OM6&sh=8fa5d990 …

Yyyeah, I'm highly skeptical about this info. I know Blizzard's stock has been dropping but I think some of this stuff that happened isn't Diablo-related or recent. I really don't like Immortal and I'm not giving them a pass, but I'm not gleefully rushing to laugh at them either.

tbh jumping to conclusions and believing non-verified sources is as bad as defending Blizzard's decision to make a shovelware reskin. Both just blindly love or blindly hate.

I had already had this thought, the guardians of Blizzard who had protected the employees and who had kept the quality to the levels they wanted are gone and as such Blizzard is slowly being changed into just Activision by Bobby Kotick.

Well sounds like someone who want to jump on the "fuck blizzard" current trend, when pretty much all other employees are constantly talking about how great it is to work there. As always, it's really easy to take one bad comment and ignore the good ones :p

The company's full name is ACTIVISION-Blizzard for a reason.

Yes. Blizzard seems to fall more in line with the rest of Activision now. But this would be a dumb move, if people were convinced that Blizzard was successful because it was Blizzard instead of being successful despite being Blizzard.
-
And we need to put current changes in context of everything since BfA/Overwatch/end of Titan. If that's a new direction for change is a question we would have to ask first.

How did Brevik part ways with Blizzard? Does he have an axe to grind? Is he bitter? These are all important questions when considering the source.
-
No there have been talking of bringing him in for d4. He is currently pursuing his own game though.
