To me as a MacBook user, the new Air looks like a vastly more powerful MacBook with a bit bigger size and roughly the same price, but (critically for me) an option for more than 512 GB. And yet no Touch Bar \o/

I think they r fine, sales will prove it as always. Folks that whine about Apple pricing either can’t afford them or fall into the trap of comparing them to a Windows laptop. I’ve come to accept their pricing and skip products I feel are not worth the “apple tax”

As far as the office goes - I get about 2-2.5 years out of the windows laptops before issues start cropping up... a majority of the MacBooks we have deployed for OS X dev we’re purchased in 2013 and we have zero issues with them. They’re saving us money and time
