@TaliesinEvitel I need to see your guy’s take on this... at this point I don’t see how a positive twist can be added to BfA and how Blizz is reacting to all this. Disclaimer: am a very casual WoW player, but what Bell complains about really incorporates the problems I face1 reply 0 retweets 4 likes -
For me, the only problem I really see with the game right now is Azerite armor and the fix appears so blindingly obvious and easy that I'm honestly surprised it's still a thing. But I feel like we're at a stage where the community aren't interested in fixes, they've decided 1/2

2/2 they want it scrapped and anything any Blizz guy says that isn't "We're scrapping it" will be torn apart. People are tearing Lore apart for AGREEING that re-farming traits and constantly reforging gear is not fun.

Large reworks aren't beyond the scope of a major patch - I think it's a false premise that we're locked into everything in it's current form for 2 years. Plenty of games have implemented large system overhauls and found great success.

Who has been saying we are locked into everything in it's current form for two years though? No one at all. And imo Azerite Armor clearly doesn't need a massive overhaul anyway - like I say pretty much everyone (inc Blizz) agree what the problems are and the fixes seem obvious

For my two cents, I totally understand why they want xpack level progression. I'd rather the HoA basically had unlockable and that you could pick a few of them - a little like War Mode talents. Add new ones to the roster, have em scale with HoA ilvl.

So basically like Glyphs V2, but on your HoA. Then just leave the gear out of it and have regular heads/shoulders/chests. Perhaps there'd be room for sets there also. Just seems like a cleaner solution than the relatively complex Azerite situation.

You see, I think that's a horrible idea Bel
And that's the problem when Blizz "Don't listen to the community"... what people usually mean is, "They are not doing the thing I want". That's a valid reason to not like a game too of course, but let's call a spade a spade :)6 replies 0 retweets 21 likes -

I gotta agree with
@TaliesinEvitel, people are usually mad because they didn't get what they want. Nobody forces people to play the game. The community just like to be toxic because everybody feels they need to have their opinions be the only ones1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
I think that's where we fundamentally disagree. People are dissatisfied because the substance of their disagreements isn't being engaged with. Unfortunately that post managed to sabotage the good work that it could have done in that regard.

From a casual player perspective: Azerite gear disappoints me because their "we want you to have bundles of gear in your bags" is a complete 180 from only 2 expansions ago. They made primary stats dynamic and spec-appropriate specifically to reduce that. Why bring it back?

By that figuring we shouldn't have multiple weapons either, just different skins. from a fellow casual player I keep 4 sets of gear in my bags, 1 for dps, 1 for heals, 1 for tank, 1 for pvp. I have since I started in BC
