In summary, I hate that my negativity -inherent to providing feedback about something bumming me out- is resulting in people I care about also feeling bad or devalued or even antagonised. I feel like a garbage person. I'll take a break and I'm sorry.

I appreciate the validation. That said, making games has the highest churn rate of any industry for which I've access to data. Feedback is exceedingly important, but so is cultivating compassion and empathy when giving it. I strive to do ever-better on both.
