In light of the Battle for Lordaeron and Saurfang, this detail from A Good War stands out: "Honor was all Saurfang had left. Honor and the Horde. She did not know what he would do if either were taken from him. He would become my enemy, a terrible one."

I think one of her flaws is overconfidence and not understanding how the living think. Underestimated Greymane's reaction to Teldrassil, underestimated Saurfang's sense of honor, left Malfurion behind.

In that scene in the game, IMHO, hearing him whine about honor, again, was driving me crazy. Then go if that's all that matters to you! The rest of us are busy!

Or it’s like Sylvanas was counting on Saurfang “dying his honourable death” and having the alliance solve her problem for her.
