I kinda wish Darkshore more went along the lines of Sylvanas killing Malfurion, the horde occupying Teldrassil, and the Night Elves lashing out by burning the tree with the horde stuck on it. Kinda thing that'd be stronger than what we see on PTR.

What would be fun is if Genn orders catapults to lob firebombs and Malfurion/Tyrande are pissed at him for destroying their home. Would be nice to see Alliance do some moral missteps, too
-
Agree. Horde is being painted too much as the "bad" side with Alliance being all sunshine / lollipops / rainbows / everything... I understand it is tempting to write that way... but much more interesting if both sides are doing dumb or even "bad" things.

I would to see the Alliance cinematic in two parts. The first one when the player arrives in Teldrassil while it's on fire, and the 2nd part when they all leave.

We killed him in Darkshore questline. He was the one causing the plague of the wildlife there.

How is Sylvanas even powerful enough too kill Malfurion. Sylvanas is a corpse with magic arrows. Malfurion is a demi-god of nature. ???
-
Sylvanas is a banshee.... Way different from just a "corpse"

Anduin burns the tree down and blames Sylvanas because he has been working for the Old Gods all along. Killing Evil Anduin is the x-packs final boss.

Is feasible that the Night Elves/Alliance employed a “scorched earth” policy? With the bulk of the army away mopping up the Legion, a horde army takes over Teldrassil as it’s discovered that the World Tree could be used to harvest Azeroth. (1/2)

Cont... The “alliance” then employ the attitude of “well if we can’t have it, then neither can you” Greymane knows about this but doesn’t inform Anduin, thus leading to the Lorderon assault.
