That said we really have no idea what happens specifically because the cinematic isn't there. I hypothesise that the cinematic has the Alliance fleet with Genn arriving, and that something they do leads to the burning.

I think that this is a far better story point. My guessing is that it paints alliance as bad too whereas alliance have to be the ‘good guys’ and horde have to be the ‘grey’ guys
