To be clear - I used WQGF, I liked it for efficiency, but I entirely think that it feels broken and has no place in a well designed MMORPG. People like WQGF because it lessens a pain point with WoW, not because it is fun.

Can you please explain what you mean by 'sandbox', here? WoW has few systems in place to make a sandbox-style game a la GTA viable.
-
The best example of a sandbox system in BfA is War Mode, in that the minute to minute gameplay is dictated not by the designer, but by the players who are engaging in the system.

All you've said could well be true. Out of interest, how well would GW2 world events or Archeage sandbox elements work of an add on like WQGF existed which allowed people to game the system?
-
That would depend on the method used to game the system. WoW world quests are designed to do solo or at most small groups, but GW2 world events, especially at max level, sometimes have dozens of players fighting together. gaming that with small groups isn't really gaming.

"Point is that when you investigate other games,
@Warcraft comes up real short in this regard." This can be said for every system@Blizzard_Ent Puts in. Just about every game does it better but Warcraft is the only one that seems to have a little of it all. And falls Just short.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
