To be clear - I used WQGF, I liked it for efficiency, but I entirely think that it feels broken and has no place in a well designed MMORPG. People like WQGF because it lessens a pain point with WoW, not because it is fun.

World Quests were designed to fit the problems of Daily Quests though. Surely you aren't saying that the MoP daily quest lgut is preferable to the current WQ system?

I think you're more getting at where the content is slotted into, and not the quality of the content it's self. So I agree about WoW being an elongated experience, but I think that the space currently filled by WQs could be better filled by more MMO orientated content.

World quests would be better suited to the public quest system of games like warhammer age of reckon. Enter the area and join all other players in the area with the reward based on your contribution.
