Especially in the beginning of an expansion it is grind. I remember when I started with legion. I legit wasted 2hours to do every WQ just for rep, items and AP. Everyday. And I think it will be the same with Bfa

Preach, man. Yep, the actual PvE gameplay of WoW is terrible most of the time, except in... endgame dungeons and raids, really. Unfortunately, the "WoW = crack" analogy is more accurate than most realize, and they've become accustomed to thinking "reward = fun".

You do some world quests, you get a purple, you get 100AP, you get some gold, and you think you had fun. But the actual gameplay of WQ is mind-numbingly easy and repetitive. It's a Skinner box, you could have roughly the same gameplay playing Cookie Clicker.

They should make world quests week long activity instead of daily, make it kind of progress with couple of stages each one giving minor rewards and ending it with bigger one. They can repeat world quest chain after couple weeks with small tweaks so it can feel different.

that's because 95% of world quests are just repetition of lvling quests. give a definitive answer of how you would design world quests and not just throw out buzzwords. and then design and implement that efficiently. keep in mind that it has to be interesting for months.

Agreed. Everything being so automated is ruining the experience. For example,those quests popping automatically as well,then you accept them,finish,and “hand in” right on your sceeen,with zero need to look for npc/quest giver,to hand it in. Same goes with World quest grps

They gotta fix that. And they must spread world quests ALL OVER the world. There are so many beautiful zones,sitting there,empty - when they can use the existing world and make game feel more alive and engaging. I don’t know why is that taking so long.
