Alright. For new tanks I think it will be stressful at first as they learn. I hope it makes MDI not just large AoE pulls.

Doesn't seem like it'll really generate interesting gameplay...tanks can comfortably do ~0.5-0.7x of the DPS on AoE meaning you have no risk of losing threat long-term Maybe on the pull, DPS will have to wait for you to use TWO abilities instead of 1?

And if a DPS tries to nuke 1 mob, you might have to taunt. That's it, only changes. Also it affects some tanks much worse than others. Every button a Paladin has is AoE, not true of other tanks.

I'm all for it. As it was, tanking was boring. Aggro might as well not even exist, and mobs should just auto target tank specs lol. This is a good change.

For LFG it could be a nightmare. For organized groups, I think it’s a good thing. It makes tanks having to worry about more stuff, therefore making it interesting, instead of just sitting and threating at x stacks

I have no opinion until I actually see it, tbh. Right now it feels...fishy.

Anything that points you in the direction of long gone game play and reliance on a threat meter seems a backward step to me. I hear what is said re tanking lately but the raid encounters bear no resemblance to those of previous expacs. There really is more going on these days

Blame Blizzard for turning Growl on automatically, yet neglect to put it on the pet's action bar by default. In BfA Growl will be auto-switched off in instances though, which is a good change.
