A Christmas Grinch stole packages from a USPS mail truck this morning and fled in her Grinch-mobile. Officers found her, got the packages back and she went to jail for burglary and mail theft.

Climbing into a window? Lock picking? All in a days work, when an elderly man locked himself out, walked 1/2 mile in the cold weather to get help and ran into our officers. Officer Puhan gave him a lift home and then they divided and conquered to get into the house. 1/2

We also located eight stolen vehicles and responded to an incident in which a subject was shot in the lower leg by another male. Officers did a great job of applying a tourniquet to the victim's leg to stop the profuse bleeding.
