    Anyway, just wanted to get that off my chest. I make a lot of art, and I don’t want anyone new to the industry to think that doesn’t come without a personal price. Or assume that just because I’m senior doesn’t mean that insecurity doesn’t haunt me.

    My best asset which is my focus and pressure to make is also super unhealthy. Yeah I make a lot of art, but I also pay the price in terms of stress sometimes. Always feeling like I’m behind (even though I’m not) so I push myself even harder. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without

    I improve by constantly making art and putting pressure on myself to always be creating. But today the pressure was hitting a tipping point and I was stressing myself out as if I had major deadlines. I’m still not in a place where I’ve found a balance.

    It's an isometric or 3/4 camera perspective, mech tactics game heavily inspired by FF:Tactics, Front Mission, and Battletech. It's early goings, but I wanted to have multiple personal IPs I could work on for fun. So I'll be cracking on this along with KOM-44 and Dreams of May

    Taking it for a spin to see how it feels. When I'm brainstorming names, I always play with fonts as I go; so I know how the name looks and not just sounds.

    In all seriousness, Aurom is actually a play on Álvaro "Aruom" Moura. A Brazilian who worked on one of the earliest mechs comics (Audaz, the demolisher) in 1939! My idea is that the mech suits are called Auroms

    So far on twitter this week, I’ve seen an artist in the community be outed as a nazi, art get stolen and lightly edited, and folks lashing out after asking for advice. It’s only Monday.
