I am using only `let` in my JS code and keeping `const` only for top level things like const DAY = 24 * 60 * 60. My ESLint config: A good explanation why: And now TC39 members agree too.

🔥Wow, ' store API is growing on me I'm used to immutable Contexts and top down dataflow. So I wrote my component like on the left. But Svelte embraces mutability, and has syntax for reactive subscriptions. Idiomatic store code on the right.

A good architecture allows you to defer framework decisions. A good architecture allows frameworks to act as plugins to the app.

The `git checkout` command was confusingly named and too overloaded in functionality. “How do I switch to a branch?” - checkout “How do I restore a file to a previous version?” - checkout Enter Git 2.23: - `git switch <branch>` - `git restore <file>`

V8 hits its long-awaited v8.0, now with optional chaining, nullish coalescing, faster higher-order builtins — oh and 40% less memory use thanks to pointer compression, no big deal. h8rs gonna h8, V8ers gonna V8 🔥🔥🔥
