I'm curious how it is, that people who believe in nominalism manage to program computers. I ask this because platonic universals are absolutely critical to my own understanding of computer programming to an extent I can't fathom how one could understand it without them.

I'm transitioning out of the IT world myself. I never did programming, though I dabbled a little in it. It's not just the stress: Most of it is mindless monotony. Most programming is just as bad from what I've found out.
