I mean, I’ve seen a lot of farmers getting upset during veganuary but okay! I do see both sides, I’m from a farming family (and I’m pretty local to you) but please, don’t make out like a lot of farmers don’t overreact. You have also blocked several of my friends for raising valid
The difference is we celebrate Februdairy by encouraging everyone to try all options of dairy based sustenance. You celebrate veganuary as an opportunity to try to shut down and ban a form of sustenance you don’t agree with. Promotion vs Prohibition, there’s a big difference

1stly I'm an omnivore. However it's unfair to suggest ALL vegans are up for banning or prohibiting the eating of meat or dairy. It's just they choose not to. You have to admit eating nuts, fruit, beans n peas, cereals and veg. is a far more efficient way of getting your calories

In the context of this discussion we’re talking to a group that heavily advocate for prohibition and use harassment to seek this end. We are well aware “not all vegans” are like this.

Dave just so I get this straight - promoting all options of dairy based sustenance includes dog milk and pig milk, right? Just wondering as I haven’t seen any tweets promoting it.

I’m sure if there were dog and pig milk farmers someone would be promoting it, capitalism at its finest. I doubt either animal would be an economical dairy animal but I could be wrong.

Then if you believe animals are sentient beings that should be left alone you must be against the cultivation of fruits and vegetables...because harmless cucumbers should be left alone too.
