Bill very often called Beegie to be his rehearsal pianist, preparing “stars” for TV taping, and sometimes (gulp) live TV. She was, as usual, the perfect choice. We all did many Johnny Cash shows, specials for CBS, and much more. Over the years Beeg 4/7

He slipped away peacefully after 95 productive, creative and love-filled years. I’m posting about him here because he and our dear Beegie were also friends, mutual admirers and players of the long game in Music City. Beeg and I both met Bill 2/7

The pink/coral is called IN YOUR EYES and the yellow/pink almost ready to open is called POP ART. They're both new plants this spring and so far, I think they like it here. 🌹👑🐝

I can't wait to see what time brings to these rose bushes! The yellow is a transplant from a part of the yard with too much shade. Beegie loved yellow roses the most, so it was important to me to save it and give it more opportunity to bloom and grow.

No filter. I was sitting on the deck last evening and saw this beauty in the rock garden. It was striking, even at quite the distance. I hope this means there are more gorgeous surprises ahead (please rain soon!). 🌺👑🐝

I pre-ordered the new @delbertmcclinton OUTDATED EMOTION album weeks ago and it came in the mail today. My heart stood still. Thank you Delbert. Beegie loved you and Wendy more than most. So do I. 💗 I'm listening to the CD now. It's so good, y’all. delbert.com

So, the rock garden's flower beds will shelter all things that bloom, especially violets. Here are a few blooms today. I'll keep sharing.... PS The bee is from the Butterfly Conservatory in Key West. She's growing clover. 🍀

Most of our spring flowers have gone to rest and I'm planting, planting, planting! Beegie loved anything that would bloom, including weeds. If it had a flower, she wanted to protect it and she adored violets most of all.

Last fall, Beegie told me she wanted more color in her front yard, so I planted over 400 spring bulbs for her. I know very little about gardening but few things make me happier. Here's a photo of happy plants showing their might today. Happy Spring, everyone. 🌼🌻🌞

With no uncertainty, Beegie would've asked me to share this. youtu.be/mQSIeD-x6dQ Ukrainian violinists are joined by top violinists across the world. 94 violinists/29 countries. "Some more Ukrainians wanted to take part, but now have guns in their hands instead of violins"

Beegie would've respectfully taken the time to hear every video of every woman included in this list, especially those with whom she wasn't familiar. Her curiousity and desire to discover new songs and new artists was interminable. Thank you, Stephen Mosher. 3/4

jazz, pop and rock sessions as a pianist, organist, singer and even playing an autoharp and a train whistle. She loved (almost) all of it. This recognition in Cabaret music, among so many other talented women artists, would make her very proud. 2/4
