Our children in care need to be in a place where they are happy and can call home. They also need stability, support, security, love, nurturing and to be able to build strong relationships that are maintained into the future where trust is established.

I don't believe I've ever met a Social Worker who went to Uni or trained to become a bad Social Worker. I genuinely used to dislike them when I was a child/yp in care. As an adult I have massive respect for them. Like any profession or job some people just aren't cut out for it.

Zahra told us “Specialised help should not stop at 18. Don’t cut off help when it starts working. Prevention not just a cure.“ Young people need continuation of support through to 25 yrs.
