We’re talking about people who are mentally unstable here, remember. The fact that these groups exist is testament to that. I’d love to know what it is about the culture these people are raised into that makes tick like that. Misogyny partly yes, but there has to be more to snap.

You can focus entirely on guns and mental health if you wish, but ignoring the primary targets of this violence, or the perpetrator’s personal history of misogyny and/or FV misses a fundamental part of the picture. Our boys are being radicalised online.

Violence against women is a daily reality for us, some bloke picking up a gun and aiming it is all part of that same spectrum.

You blame mental illness to make sense of this, but sometimes perpetrators of horrific crimes are not mentally ill. I haven’t seen any evidence that recent shooters had any diagnosis & countless others live with mental illness without killing.

Given this, I query why you would focus on your assumptions rather than the very clear evidence that suggests gender has a part here.
