Might resonate with them? The virtue signalling and reactionary excessive pc junk has gone way to far. This is not sexist.

Thanks for your comment. I wasn't necessarily saying the ad was sexist. But, the daughter/dishes image can be associated with inequality...
-
... And the CoOp, as an ethical company with a commitment to equality and diversity should have been more mindful of that. I'm not saying...
-
... young women/girls should not help with the dishes(!), just that the marketing, in this instance, could have been better thought-out...
-
But - I am very grateful that CoOp came back so quickly with a promise to review the wording! Great work!
-
Again I dont agree with you and the company should not have caved to unfair pc pressure.
-
I appreciate your POV, and my intent was not to pressure CoOp, just to get ppl thinking about this issue. I'm sorry you think it was unfair
-
People better than us have considered the issue for many many years. I have never seen sexism at work in my career. The reaction was unfair

We are proud of our organisation’s equality and diversity, we are sorry. We have changed the advert’s wording.

Yes, certainly not prostrating on the altar of political correctness! But if it said "son," would you have complained at all?
-
My intent wasn't to complain but note the marketing mayb hadn't been thought-out. Hard to inc. all elements of equality debate in 140 chars!

I think you're being too sensitive and pc here. People have daughters who on occasion will help with washing up. Sons will also help ->
